This way they can say without the Patriot Act Americans will be unsafe). Take note people the Republicans have to win the 2006 elections, THEY HAVE TO, meaning they will do anything to win the elections. Just like they did in 2000, and 2004. The AP reported today that a high amount of explosives have been stolen in New Mexico, the same thing happened in the year 2000. These explosives will be used to make you very afraid of the non-existent terrorist threat, basically there is none. Get ready for a world of shit and just remember Al-Qaida is not the terrorist the Bush Admin is ,these guys are scumbags who are power hungry feasting on fear. No matter what happens in the future, do not be afraid the actions taken on preying on your fear, take the time and investigate, these guys are scum suckers who don't care about you. Just remember that the Bush Admin. was warned 50+ times about Sept. 11th they don't care about you they care about them the uber-rich.

STEWART UDALL, PART ZWEI

In writing the " Mtyhs of August" Mr. Udall exposed the myths of the time about the development of the atomic bomb and how it could change our world. In the conclusion of the book he had a sunny outlook on how the world could interact and get along in a peaceful manner without the need to waste valuable tax dollars on defense. Unfortunately the exact opposite has happened, Mr Udall didn't account for the fact that the American people just could'nt be bothered with the fact that the gov. was robbing them blind. Mr. Udall had some fantastic ideas that no one paid heed to so now I reach into my bag and throw them amongst the crowd like pollen during fall in the Carolina's.

He is saying these things in 1994 and how we bypassed them and let them happen is something for the psychiatrists to figure out.

-that secrecy is a poison to the body politic of our society

-that free access to and public dissemination of information is essential to the maintenance of free political institutions

-that the rule of law must never be comprimised, so that public officials will never entertain the thought that they are not answerable for their actions to the public that they presumadly serve.

What we have is ideas and principles fomented in the past which have been forgotten in the name of "terrorism". 40 or 50 years ago it was the Communists who were going to take over America, never mind the fact that we were way ahead of them in the nuclear arms race. The RED THREAT caused us to get the schools prepared for an attack by hiding under our desks. It seems almost laughable now but back then we felt safe. And through this book we can realize it was all a farce. The officials of the Gov. tricked us, there was no threat we were used to give these pusbags the go ahead to build up our armed forces, because we weren't safe. We needed protection and the more crazy and drastic the threats were the more we were afraid. It was all a farce just like the war on terror is. We are not in danger, even if you want to take a cynical point of view, hey only3,000 were killed on 9/11 but the general populous was safe. We have no reason to be afraid and we have no reason to take everything the gov. says as fact. All we have is to protect ourselves from the individual who can lay out millions of dollars to run for office. These people don't have the majority of Americans in mind, take a look read, ask questions because the Democracy we feel so good about is being thrown out. They don't care about Democracy ,they care about power. Be afraid, be very afraid.

STEWART UDALL PART EINS

Sewart Udall wrote a very important book back in 1994 that still resonates today. The book is titled " The Myths Of August " and lays out the tragedy of secrecy in our government back in the 50"s unfortunately it is still alive today (secrecy that is). He drew a list of big issues that still trouble us today here are a few;

- What were the influences that allowed a Cold War mentality to cow critical thought in this country and to gain such a powerful grip on the minds of our nations leaders? ( You can slide in terrorism for Cold War)

- Why were members of Congress and the American people intimidated for so long by claims of insiders that only they should have access to information needed to make rational decisions about our country's security? ( Ohh that sounds like the PATRIOT ACT and all the other bullshit laws congress has passed to make us safe from the terrorists.)

- What were the influences that pushed America's once-prized moral principles into the background and encouraged our leaders to approve Cold War modes of conduct here and abroad that diminished our claim to moral leadership? (Ouch sounds like Abu Graihb and rendition)

- And what factors have combined to encourage our elected leaders to consciously mislead the American people and to hide behind classified information rather than admit mistakes? ( Geez can anyone say the Bush admin.?)

The scary thing is that these questions were related to the development of the Atomic Bomb and should we have dropped them on Japan. Unfortunately the Bush admin has co-opted the exact same operational traits and converted them to the war on terror. So my question is do we learn anything from history? Do we learn when government becomes a big secret for " National Security Reasons " leaving out Congressional decisions and exempting the American people from the conversation. A tried and true meme is FEAR used over and over again. First it was the Communists,greenlighting ridiculous spending of our tax dollars to equip the military industrial complex , because the Soviets could attack at any time. Now we cower on the roadside for fear of the " Terrorist attacks soon to come". The same logic is being used but we as Americans still don't get it. We have this childlike quality of viewing the Government as the be all end all to protect us never once contemplating the fact that maybe the Government doesn't care about our protection. Maybe it is good for us to be afraid and maybe in reality we don't have that much to be afraid about. Maybe we can turn that fake American bravado into reality ( We are the greatest Nation in the world) and hold our Government responsible. After all we pay their salaries they are beholden to US! Somewhere along the way we have lost this ideal and just hope and pray that Daddy will take care of us in a time of crisis. I leave you with a quote from Stewart Udall;

Christmas is a pagan holiday in the first place, Jesus wasn't born on Dec. 25th, and what do you tell the Jews, the Hindus, Atheists, Buddhists and every other flippin religious group in America?( and yes there are many) History is a pawn to our powerful desires after all why do we praise Columbus? Here you have an idiot who set out to sail to India to find a quicker route to the spices. Well, HEY he landed ass-backwards on a continent far-far away from India and still referred to the people he met as INDIANS! WE WORSHIP HIM WITH HIS OWN HOLIDAY!!!Is there a time period when we can admit we made a mistake? If I set out to sail to Cuba and accidentally landed in Madagascar can I have a Holiday? and if I name the people I meet Cubans is that okay to? Will you write history books about my great discovery? Anyway getting back to Christmas( which has nothing to do with Jesus) we will use another example. The example being the fact that during the conference at Nicea, Constantine had wanted to bring the people of the empire together so he melded beliefs together and came out with the barbarian principle of Sunday being a holy day with Sol, the god of the sun, and the Jewish holy day of Saturday (the day which Jesus and his disciples practiced as holy) and decided that Sunday would be the holy day thus throwing the barbarians a bone and Constantine ,who had converted to Christ but still held onto pagan beliefs, a day to worship. So lets take these beliefs with a grain of salt and relize for one that Constantine had to make concessions to bring the Empire together.

VINE DELORIA JR, GOODBYE

Vine Deloria JR. passed away on Nov. 13, 2005, that hurts.He was by far one of the great thinkers of our time and had quite an effect on the way I see the world so i will leave you with some ideas,actually quotes of his to make you think.

WHY THE WAR ON TERROR IS A FRAUD

Never mind the fact that the Bush Admin. outed a CIA agent working on proliferation of WMD's (remember those things Iraq supposedly had). Or the fact Bin Laden doesn't matter anymore(you know the guy who was supposedly responsible for Sept 11). Or maybe the biggest terrorist financier in the world (Saudi Arabia) would surely be brought to justice...or maybe not. If you need any more proof that the war on terror is a fraud here is an excerpt of a speech given by James Pravitt. Who is James Pravitt? Well on April 11, 2002 he gave a speech at Duke University Law School that was somewhat surprising, oh and his official title is , CIA Deputy Director of Operations.

"We had very, very good intelligence of the general structure and strategies of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization. We knew , and we warned , that Al Qaeda was planning a major strike. There need be no question about that..... If you hear somebody say, and I have, the CIA abandoned Afghanistan after the Soviets left and that we never paid attention to that place until Sep. 11th, I would implore you to ask those people how we were able to accomplish all we did since the Soviets departed. How we knew who to approach on the ground, which operations, which warlord to support, what information to collect. Quite simply, we were there well before the 11th of September.... In the Directorate of Operations alone, since just five or six years ago, we are training more than 10 times as many operations officers."

So not only was the CIA aware of Al-Qaeda and their operations they were also heavily involved in Afghanistan. So who let what happen? The CIA obviously had enough information to stop Sept 11th and even dismantle Al-Qaeda when need be. So why didn't they?

Islamabad -A prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement announced yesterday the death of Osama bin Laden, the chief of al-Qa'da organization, stating that binLaden suffered serious complications in the lungs and died a natural and quiet death. The official, who asked to remain anonymous, stated to The Observer of Pakistan that he had himself attended the funeral of bin Laden and saw his face prior to burial in Tora Bora 10 days ago. He mentioned that 30 of al-Qa'da fighters attended the burial as well as members of his family and some friends from the Taleban. In the farewell ceremony to his final rest guns were fired in the air. The official stated that it is difficult to pinpoint the burial location of bin Laden because according to the Wahhabi tradition no mark is left by the grave. He stressed that it is unlikely that the American forces would ever uncover any traces of bin Laden.

Maybe this is why Porter Goss(head of the CIA) said recently he knew exactly where Bin Laden is. Strangely enough his comments have become a footnote in the annals of history ,as a matter of fact I can't even remember the mainstream news covering this story. For such a bombshell of a quote it was hushed up rather quickly.

And here is another story about the mysterious travels of Osama Bin Laden. Bin Laden already had a $5million bounty on his head in July of 2001 while reportedly being treated for two weeks in an American hospital in Dubai. This story was reported by six news agencies, unfortunately all but one (Reuters) is a European news agency.

CINDY SHEEHAN, IRAQ AND 9/11

Cindy Sheehan was in Pittsburgh on Sun. which happened to also be the 4th anniversary of 9/11. I was lucky enough to hear her speak and I am not surprised America has rallied around her. She speaks with the conviction and resolve of one who is tired of being hurt and lied to. There was no glitz no fancy schmancy crap just a regular citizen with like minded individuals who have had enough. She reminded me of what freedom and democracy mean, the ability to speak out against the wrongs perpetuated against us regular folks who don't have an in to the beltway. Just a regular woman with the power and conviction of words and ideas to spark our dormant hearts .Maybe this mindset has sparked the whimpering editors at the New York Times who have meekly scampered under a rock afraid to challenge the absolute corruption of the Bushies until today. The NYT actually acknowledged today that the Bushies had been warned numerous times before 9/11 about the possibility of terrorists flying planes into buildings. This information has been circulating around the web for years if you think about it for a moment the obvious progression would have to be ,"well why in the hell didn't somebody do something about it!" The Bushies are already on record as lying about this(nobody could have imagined terrorists flying a plane into a building), how about Iraq, well geez they lied about that to,well what about relief efforts during and after Hurricane Katrina, oh man they lied about that to. The policies of the administration are all based on 9/11 Bush himself repeats 9/11 at least 40 times during every speech. Think about it

FLUBBER

Amidst the horrifying amount of death and destruction in New Orleans it is important for us to revisit how we arrived at this horrible outcome. With the creation of the Dept of Homeland Security and the enfolding of various government organizations into security of the homeland,FEMA for example, the priorities have changed on how these organizations act. First and foremost is determining how the "terrorists" may have or might be involved. When the "terrorist" threat is determined to be nil then the DHS can go about helping people in need such as supplying food and water to people who are too poor to escape a catagory 4 hurricane. Make no mistake the "terrorist" angle comes first that is why government funding to branches such as FEMA are gutted so more money can be diverted to the protection of the homeland. There is a masterful article floating around on the web in essence saying the present administration understands exactly what they are doing. That being, hoarding as much natural resouces as possible for as big a profit as possible before the true energy shortfalls really take a bite out of the way we live.

WHY WE CAN LEAVE SOON

Here is a funny notion, a little quip about leaving Iraq. How about we do this why don't we get the electrical grid up first. Instead of Iraqi's experiencing 2 hours of electricity a day how about 24 hours of electricity? Can you imagine living in a country that sees temps of 115 degrees and not having AC? When the temps were in the 90's for much of August I was pretty damn uncomfortable imagine what the Iraqi's feel. Once we do that how about instead of spending 1 billion on an embassy we spend 1 billion on employing Iraqi's ,developing a workforce. A billion dollars is alot of money I bet we could create at least a couple of jobs. The Iraqi's might even like to make money and provide for their families They might even see a future instead of worrying about how or when they might be blownup, maimed, mutilated or secretly detained in Abu Ghraib. Maybe we could find out what Paul Bremer and co-horts did with the missing 9 million dollars checked to go to the Iraqi people. I bet the Iraqi's kind of wonder how competent we are to bring "freedom and democracy" when we keep on losing money earmarked to help them. Maybe we could force Halliburton to hire Iraqi citizens to rebuild the country instead of bringing in Filipino,Thai,Bangledeshi and Indian work forces. Thats got to hurt when you can't even get paid to rebuild your own country. I guess maybe that is why the Iraqi's are'nt to fond of us and oh yeah we could even pull our troops out with the infrastructure in place. When you hear some Republican or Democrat say we can't pull the troops out ask why we have'nt been rebuilding the infrastructure for the past three years and then ask what benefit they get out of the troops staying.

RIGHT ON THE FUNNY BONE

American Dad a show on FOX(sun. 9:30) hit the nail on the head tonight with a humorous take on the Patriot Act and nervous nellyism. Basically the Dad of the family is in the C.I.A and when he finds out an Iranian-American couple from Cleveland live on his block his terror alert senses go in to overdrive. He takes every opportunity to catch them in the act and at one point creates a prison in his backyard "detaining" the couple in the prison. When the couple exclaims "Hey you can't do this!", American Dad whips out the Patriot Act saying something to the effect of "I can now!" The creator of the show also created Family Guy and he has a somewhat interesting take on humor.

BLINDED BY THE RIGHT PART DEUX

Once again lets go back to the book,"Blinded by the right" by David Brock. It is relevant because the book is a primer to how the New Repubs. are reacting to Cindy Sheehan ( A mother who lost her son in Iraq and then found out about the Downing Street Memos and various other lies the Bush admin. has spoken,and was rightly pissed off her son died for a less than noble cause). The right-wing or nut-ball organ of the Repub party has been slandering her! As if she should'nt feel the pain of losing her son and is just grandstanding because she likes to see her face on T.V. They are also slandering Paul Hackett who ran in a very conservative part of Ohio as a Democrat, and was also an Iraq war vet. He almost won and lilly-livered cowards like Rush slandered him because unlike Rush he was a man and didn't get deferments because he had a pimple on his ass! This all relates to the time when Clinton became Prez. The nutjobs were attacking him with frivolous charges THE DAY he became president. The plan worked because the main stream media reported the charges being thrown at Clinton no matter how ridiculous they were and poof a movement was born. Attack ,you don't have to believe just ATTACK this is the mantra of the nutjobs and it works because people are conditioned to accept a simple easy to listen to message. "Clinton raped a woman "( Oh my God!)," Clinton had an illegitimate black baby"(Oh my God!). Attack for attack's sake damn the facts. This is what we have now being parroted out of these peoples mouths. The truth is not good enough this is a mere abstraction. Here is where we are; now they attack the mother of a dead son, a marine in Iraq because they have no belief, abortion,anti-corporation, social security, these are words that set the mouth to frothing because these are issues the Fuhrer concluded hurt true PATRIOTS? as long as they are against what ever the other side is for they can pat themselves on the back and say;" Good job!" These people are sad and I feel sorry for them, because the gratification they recieve is attacking other people in otherwords SADISTS! These people have no values besides the value of a good attack.

This book is an excellent map as to how the right-wing nut jobs operate(Brock used to be a right-wing smear master until his conscience set in). 1."2000 Election", Bush Jr learned if you are to incompetent to win an election on your own then cheat and claim your presidency.

Oh and of course on September 13, 2001 he let the Bin Laden family and other Saudi nationals leave the country without being interviewed extensively by the FBI. With his crass invoking of 9/11 for certain policies to be pushed through the Senate he is not worried about any backlash on what exactly happened that day. It is with the utmost importance the Democrats take back the Senate and the House it is the only way to stop the Bush cabal from abusing 9/11 for every destructive policy they put forth. Bush should be careful about invoking 9/11 especially after the release of the Downing Street Memos, he is awakening a powerful beast in the American psyche, that is anger and pain.

My question to these folks is how many kids have they adopted, how much money have they invested in foster care for the poor kids who are alive who have no family. Dobsons group is called ,Focus on the Family, which is anything but. They also promote the use of abstinance education and downplay the use of condoms. A prevailing mantra is that the stats on condom use are wrong they don't protect kids having sex, a court in Alabama ruled that a pregnant girl in high school could not attend her graduation even though she thought she was doing the right thing(if you are going to have sex don't use a condom) by not having an abortion, meanwhile the boy who got her pregnant was allowed to attend the ceremony. If a person can claim faith through their judgements it is hard to disuade them or their followers because there is no science to faith. Being born again means saying goodbye to your un-christian acts without ever looking into the reasons behind them, hence carrying your idiosyncrasies along with you supproted by your new found faith. A DEMOCRATIC PROCESS(VERY UNUSUAL)

Watching the Brits grill PM candidates in a town hall style meeting(or what Bush would call " A meeting with a vetted group who have no inclination to ask me any questions about the truth.") was totally astonishing. At one point one of the crowd actually called Blair a liar to his face, another woman said he should resign! What did Blair do? Blair sat there and responded to all questions, I dont like his politics but give the guy credit he is a real politician. I sat there watching and wondering how long Bush would last,not long, in fact he probably would have faked an illness and left the stage wondering why people had questions on anything other than how strong,pro-family and pro-jesus he is. The Enviroment and poop

Nature is important because we live off of nature it sustains us. If you abuse what gives you life you are not alive, you are shuffling towards an uncomfortable demise. It is popular to poo-poo this point of view as womanly. There is nothing wrong with that, the people who have sold this idea as ridiculous are impotent boobs after all how would they survive? Food just does'nt fall out of the sky. Water does'nt run through our faucets free of contamination because we want it to. To ignore this subject is a fools errand. The Christian right does not care because , Hey the world is going to end soon it is the time of the rapture! Native American tribes refer to the earth as Mother Earth, there is good reason ,the earth nurtures and keeps us alive. I think this takes a physical toll on people who poo-poo the environment, To disassociate yourself from the environment,life giver, takes balls as if you are a robot who only needs oil to live It is a novel of good vs. evil, to deny your mother is death or horrible pain. To shrug off the process that keeps you alive merely for a profit, a new car, a bigger house is apocrhyful. People that are so worried about the judgement of God should step back and think about how they appreciate the gifts from God. According to stat's and figures these idiots fall way short. Faith, dammit! Faith!

Hello one and all faith is the topic today. In recent light of the non stop death watch coverage of the past few weeks I am resolved to think about faith. Faith and spirituality are near and dear to my heart, I grew up with it. My family felt strongly about these topics, I am glad they did. This is the essence of our soul they way we view life. My parents whether they like it or not gave me the resources to explore and question life. I think this issue is common sense if a man is lying on the sidewalk destitute you give him a couple of dollars it does'nt matter how he spends it the fact is that man will know someone cares about him. Faith today has been abused by people who will use human suffering to their advantage(Tom Delay). These people should be called out for who they are, con artists. The religious right backs this bullshit and for that reason alone you can tell they are not real Christians they are whores for money and power. My father spoke the word of Christ for many years he did not need the cameras to legitimize himself all he needed was faith and spirituality. I think Jesus would be disgusted with the rampant misuse of his word today. Whether you are religious or not these whores that protest the Terri Schiavo death are just plain disgusting. True Christians revel in the word and do not prevert issues according to political philosophies. Look for the TV to promote your own cause my father worked in nursing homes early on and these topics were debated they were not debated on TV obviously. It is time that straight thinking American Christians or whoever use common sense and throw these Ultra no nonsense faux Christians to the side exspose these people for the idiots they are. We can take care of this problem very simply. Gather all the groups together that have a niche complaint against the Busheviks. Show them the voter fraud evidence (and there is plenty!). Unite these various groups and demand that Ken Blackwell (the man in charge of the recount in Ohio) come clean and let us see the data( which he refuses to do). Impeach Prez Dipshit for being a fake Prez for the past 5 years and imprison anyone involved with the creation of the Policy for a New American Century ( PNAC). Refuse to let the super fantastic electronic voter machines to be used by a partisian group(there are four pro-republican incestuos companies who own all the EVM in the country) using these machines to elect a "person" wrapped up in an ideology. Then we can reverse the effects these lunatics have had on this country. Lets face it if China really felt vindictive they would call in the loans the good ole U.S.A owes them(yes it is true) and send us into a depression much worse than the twenties because guess what WE CAN'T AFFORD THEM!!! Economic Hit Men

There is a very important book out there that i have not heard or read to much conversation about. The book is titled " Confessions of an Economic Hit Man".
John Perkins(author) tells his story as an EHM. Basically him and his team would go into a country like Panama or Iraq and create a prospectus on how much money a loan from the World Bank would take to create a thriving infrastructure in an otherwise Third World Country. Basically they would impress upon the Dictator of said country that accepting the loan would be advantageous to the country and more importantly to the Dictator. With the loan from the World Bank the Dictator would accept a chunk and the rest of the funds would be to pay for contracts to American companies to rebuild the infrastructure of the country. This would basically leave the country indebt to the U.S. for eternity but give the Dictator the power to stay in office.continued
